Traffic Working Party

In early 2022 the Parish Council established a Traffic Working Party comprising volunteers. Their original brief was to provide recommendations to the Parish Council on measures to improve parking arrangements throughout the Village however it became evident that consideration also needed to be given to the movement of people and vehicles.

A strategic study has been commissioned from an outside provider to consider parking requirements, traffic signage, pedestrian safety and sustainable transport solutions. The overall aim is to reduce the impact of parking and congestion in the streets and key public spaces and improve the village environment as a whole.
