Traffic in Lavenham is both a problem and a necessity.  Traffic brings goods for us to use, staff to service our shops and businesses, it provides the ability for all of us to travel and it brings in visitors.  The sheer numbers of cars, vans, lorries, busses and bicycles that can be seen on our narrow streets is staggering.  This volume of traffic causes problems of which we are all well aware with parking, congestion, speeding and polution.
The Parish Council continue in their efforts to resolve these problems and will share their thoughts and ideas in the pages of this section of the web site. Your comments and thoughts are always welcome additions to the discussions  please e-mail them to The Clerk
